Something that we should all think about.

A talk given by General  Petrus J.M. "Peter" van Uhm  Chief of Staff Netherlands Defense Staff, at the TED conference in Amsterdam in 2011.

What makes this message even more compelling is that General van Uhm family has paid the ultimate price for keeping the peace in the world with the loss of their son 1st Lt. Dennis van Uhm on 8 April 2008 to an IED in Afghanistan.

His are not hollow words.
